About the Project

This project explores how digital storytelling can offer older adults a creative and meaningful way to share personal stories about their lives and their relationships with companion animals. It brings together research, storytelling, media production, and community engagement through short digital stories created with participants’ own memories, voices, images, and experiences.

The goal is to create a respectful and supportive space where participants can tell stories that matter to them, in their own words and at their own pace. This website shares information about the project, provides access to project materials, and presents selected digital stories for which we have permission to share publicly.
